Can I enter the Rothley 10k online?
Of course, it's quick and simple. Just fill in our online booking form and register today!
Can I enter the race via post?
Again, yes. You can download our form here, fill it in and return to the address stated. Alternatively, you can pick up a form from Rothley Mercury News or the chip shop!
What's the deadline for entering the Rothley 10k?
The last date you can enter this year's Rothley 10k is June 10 2019.
How do I know my entry has been received?
If you've entered using our online system then you'll automatically receive a confirmation email.
When will I receive my race pack?
Race packs are normally posted out around two weeks before the race date.
If we have our race packs on the day, will we need to report in?
No, just meet up outside our race caravan on Cross Green.
What are the age restrictions on Juniors?
Juniors must be aged between 15 to 18 years old in order to enter.
Is there a minimum age for entering the Rothley 10k?
Yes, runners must be over 15 years old.
Changing Facilities and Registration
Where are the changing rooms?
The changing rooms are located in the village hall, on the corner of Cross Green in Rothley.
Will I be able to enter on the night of the race?
Yes, providing the race is not over-subscribed. There will be an additional £5 cost per entry.
What if I haven't received my race pack before the race?
If you haven't received your race pack before the race then you can collect it on the night from the village hall.
What time will the village hall be open from on the night of the race?
The village hall will be open from 17:45 on the evening of the race.
Start Time and Location
What time does the race start?
The race will start at 19:15
Where does the race start from?
The race will start from Woodgate, outside the Babbington Court Care Home.
Where can runners park their cars during the race?
Car parking locations are very limited, but there will be some spaces available at the Rothley Centre, Rothley Court, and Fowke St. Playing Fields.
Is there a safe place where runners can leave valuables whilst taking part in the race?
Please place any valuables and keys etc. in an envelope, with your name clearly marked on it, and leave with the race organisers in the caravan at the start line.
Water Stations and Medical
Will there be first aid stations around the course?
There will be two separate paramedic teams on the day of the race. One will follow the runners and the other will be stationed at the finish line.
Are there water stations along the route?
There will be water stations along Templar Way, The Ridings, and at the race finish line.
When will the results of the race be available?
Race results are normally available straight after the racea at around 20:30 outside the race caravan.
Where and what time is the prize-giving ceremony?
Prize giving will be held just after the race results become available, again outside the race caravan at around 20:30.
Can I access the race results?
Yes, a full list of race results will be posted the day after on the website. You'll also be able to access previous race results in our archive.
Chip Timing & Headphones
Is the race chip-timed?
Yes, all runners' bibs house the timing chip for the race, so all you need to do is attach your number bib to your front for us to accurately record your race time.
Are headphones allowed during the race?
In light of there being confusion at previous races, we can confirm that headphones are not permitted due to health & safety regulations.
Goody Bags and T-shirts
From where do we collect our free goody bags and t-shirts?
Runners will be able to collect their free goody bags and t-shirts from the stalls in Woodgate after the race has finished. Please do not take goody bags for non-runners. Sizes are first come, first served.
